Deer in our back yard

Once again, a number of deer found their way into our back yard. Although it’s fun to see them, they are a nuisance, eating almost every flower and tree we try to plant. They also create small mountains of deer poop, which you can imagine, are very messy if you step in one.

I learned finally in my 3rd year living here that flower bed and Roses will have to wait…on a good note, deer poop is high on nutrient, very good for your soil if you are persevering to grow your garden 😀

    • When we lived in Salem, we were very proud of our cherry trees. Each summer, we would harvest buckets and buckets of Royal Anne cherries. Sadly, the cold weather and deer prevent us from growing fruit trees. We miss that.
