Driving through the Santiam Pass

We made it through, because my wife is an excellent driver. I’m glad we’ve got all-wheel drive and traction tires. We did not slip or slide, but the low visibility at this highway elevation made things scary

Glad you two are home, safe and sound. The pass is always a challenge drive but so scenic even in low invisibility 😀

    • Thank you, Sarah! You are correct. It is always a beautiful drive. I no longer dread going over the mountains, because, in the past, I always was required to put on tire chains. I hated that. Now, traction tires have improved so much, we no longer need chains. Still an adventure going through the mountains, but not as bad as those days when we had rear-wheel drive cars.

Thank you for reading my post and for your comment. 🙂
